Scott Whorrall is a results driven turf-grass and landscape expert with a twenty year successful track record. He is passionate, conscientious and detail oriented with the highest of moral and ethical standards. Scott’s background and experiences encompass a broad spectrum of both Horticulture and Turf-grass Management talents and skills. Scott is a 1993 graduate of Florida Gateway College in Lake City, Florida, a college renowned for some of the country’s leading Landscape and Golf Course Management professionals. Originally, from outside of Chicago, he has been a Florida resident for the past twenty-five years. Scott has been an integral part of the development, construction and management of four golf courses, two master planned communities along with exclusive clubhouse lawns and gardens.
Before Vision Landscapes, Scott was the Director of Golf Course and Grounds Operations at the exclusive Mediterra in Naples for twelve years. He was hired during the infancy of the project and went on to oversee and manage the building of both golf courses, their exquisite clubhouse landscaping, their salt tolerant landscape of their Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico and over sixty five acres of common area parks, arbors, fountains and landscape. Not interested in keeping with the standard “norm” of many Landscape Companies, he caters to individuals and organizations who want their properties to distinguish themselves from others. His philosophy is to not be the largest landscape installation and service provider but to focus on distinguished properties for maintenance and only a select few construction and renovation projects at once. This philosophy is so he and his Team are accessible, hands on, and able to deliver the highest quality results for their clients.
Director of Finance
Erik Delgado is our Financial Analyst and Controller at Vision Landscape Services in Bonita Springs, FL. He brings to the table a strong background in Financial Modeling, Management Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, P&L, and B/S.
Erik most recently worked as a financial Analyst for HCA Healthcare at their corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. He helped develop financial reporting models that provided data integration and analysis that helped improve the company’s revenue cycle and other initiatives. He was instrumental in the company’s success by aligning technologies, processes, and methodologies throughout finance and other departments.
Erik has a BS in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA in Finance from Tennessee State University. He grew up in South Florida and currently lives in Fort Myers with his wife and daughter.
Director of Strategy, Technology & Innovation
Ryan joined Vision Landscapes in 2020 as the Director of Strategy, Technology and Innovation. He worked for the Austin Texas Convention and Visitors Bureau as the IT Manager for six years handling the IT infrastructure along with working with events such as SXSW, MotoGP, Formula One, and ACL Music Festival. Ryan holds a degree in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, along with a Minor in Computer Forensics. His passion is driven by learning new ideas and introducing the newest cutting-edge technology for the company and our clients.
Joana Barreda is an experienced human resources executive with a proven track record in talent acquisition and organizational development. With over 10 years of experience, Joana has led teams in different industries, developing effective recruitment strategies and fostering a positive work culture. Additionally, she has designed and implemented training programs that enhance employee performance and engagement. Known for her strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport, she excels at fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Business Development Manager
Michael has over 25 years as a contractor and 17 years as a business development manager in the landscape and irrigation industry. He is looking forward to developing many new long-term business relationships with property owners and property managers in the area. He loves to see a new client’s landscape flourish and mature over the years with fresh ideas and a little expert TLC.
Michael moved to Naples in 2004 and currently lives in Bonita Springs with his wife Melissa and their two Dachshunds, Liebe and Jager. His hobbies are personal development, travel, and investing, and he enjoys volleyball for exercise.
Abel Sanchez Navarro is our SR Accountant at Vision Landscape Services in Bonita Springs, FL. He is a Certified Accounting Para-Professional (CAP) graduate from The National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. He is originally from Cuba where he got his degree as a Public Accountant and has 20 years of experience in different industries. Abel’s functions are oriented to financial recordkeeping, invoicing, and billing, Account Payables, Account Receivables, and General Ledger Entries. In our Co., Abel also performs several different tasks as well as supporting Erik in everything related to Vision’s financial life.
Married with two daughters, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as traveling and seeing new places both in the country and abroad.
Director of Landscape Operations
Paul is an experienced Client Services Manager and a previous landscape company owner. He was born and raised in northern New Jersey, in a suburb just outside New York City, and moved to Florida in 2011. He has been in the landscape industry for over twenty-five years and previously worked at two of the largest Landscape companies in the country.
Paul holds an Associate Degree in Business Management and several certifications through the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association.
Client Service Manager
As a Southwest Florida native, Robert brings with him a vast knowledge of Florida landscapes. Robert manages our numerous Homeowner Associations and Community Associations in our Fort Myers Division. He facilitates the maintenance and enhancements throughout these communities of over (350) homes and is an integral part of their beautification. Robert has been involved in several large scale Landscape Construction and Maintenance projects throughout Naples and Fort Myers since 2010. He began with Vision in the Landscape Construction Division and has worked his way up the ranks from Laborer to Production Manager and now Client Services Manager. A true asset to our team!
Client Service Manager
Brett Rojas was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He relocated to Southwest Florida in 2017 with his wife, Natalie, and two sons, Landon and Logan. Brett holds a certificate in the GI-BMP and has been working in the landscape industry since 2009.
Bretts’s experience is working with commercial and residential clients, and his daily focus is to meet and exceed their landscape needs and expectations. He is always looking to further his knowledge in the green industry with continuing education to improve his client’s landscape experience. Brett enjoys hiking, boating and spending time with his family and dogs.
Client Service Manger
Israel lived in New Jersey and North Carolina. He previously worked as an Environmental Engineer in a landfill, horticulture, and recycling processing center in NC. He moved to Florida in 2016 and began his career in the landscaping industry. He brings a vast knowledge of landscapes as he has managed various communities with multi-family HOAs, government buildings as well as commercial and residential properties. He possesses great attention to detail and great customer service which ultimately results in quality standards and services for clients.
